I went out to the Rockaways recently with my good friend and business partner Steve Hart to photograph the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The beachfront is decimated for miles - houses destroyed and large sections of boardwalk washed right off the foundations. People out there are working hard to restore the area, but it's going to take time. You can see more photos in the recent work section.
